The spring edition of our bi-annual competition. Each participant independently researches and presents a single stock pitch. Judges evaluate thesis quality, valuation rigor, and presentation clarity. The winning pitch is added directly to the SIF portfolio.
Stock Pitch Workshops
Preparation sessions ahead of the competition
Hands-on workshops led by senior analysts covering idea generation, financial modelling, valuation frameworks, and presentation skills. Open to all LBS students preparing for the competition or looking to sharpen their pitch craft.
Pitch Requirements
All pitches must include a comprehensive business overview, identification of key drivers, a full valuation model (DCF/FCF), risk analysis with bear/bull scenarios, and an assessment of management quality and capital allocation track record.
Competitions are open to all LBS students, not just IMC or SIF members. This ensures fresh perspectives and talent discovery, with top performers often invited to join the fund as analysts.
